This lovely end-terrace cottage in Hunwick near Durham sleeps two people. October Cottage is a delightful end-terrace cottage in the village of Hunwick, 9.5 miles from the city of Durham. This cottage sleeps two people and has a double bedroom, a bathroom and an open plan living area with kitchen, breakfast bar and sitting area. Outside there's roadside parking for one car. There's a pub in Hunwick, and Bishop Auckland has an arts complex and shops. Also within reach are Durham with its cathedral and castle, along with the town of Barnard Castle. October Cottage is a great base for a couple.

Gas central heating with electric fire. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, TV with Freeview, DVD, WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot. Roadside parking for 1 car. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 2.5 miles, pub 1 min walk. Note: The steps to the first floor are steep.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
