Old School House is an excellent romantic retreat, enjoying lovely countryside views.

The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

,The cottage was fantastic and the location was perfect for a relaxing break. The walks close by were scenic and it was a great base for the various trails nearby. It caters for dogs well and is secure even for our escape artist! The log burner was lovely after getting wet one day in particular. The owner was friendly and happy to be contacted if needed.

,The isolated and remote location of School House Cottage was utterly idyllic, very warm, scrupulously clean and comfortable, well equipped and well maintained.
The bed was comfortable and the bed-linen sparkling white and clean, as were the towels, which were also fluffy and soft.
The WIFI signal was excellent and problem-fre - useful as there's no mobile 'phone signal for several miles in every direction (which, for me, was a plus.)
Ample parking space.
The owner was very helpful, without being at all intrusive of my privacy. I particularly liked the fact that, in every particular, the cottage was supplied with clear information (on, for example refuse collection) but without overburdening the holidaymaker with tons of unnecessary information.
