This is a charming, semi-detached property, set on the owners' working smallholding and located very close to some of the most spectacular walks that the region has to offer and provides comfortable accommodation for up to four people. Built in the 1700s, this cottage, set on the owners' working smallholding, has been sympathetically restored and decorated to a very high standard throughout. The restoration has retained many original features, such as a cast-iron range with an open fire to create cosy winter evenings. The patio garden to the front of the property has its own garden furniture, from which you can soak up the sunset with a glass of wine and enjoy the spectacular view of the surrounding countryside. Two bedrooms provide comfortable and stylish sleeping accommodation for groups of up to four people and the sitting area is spacious and relaxing. There is also off-road parking for up to two cars.

Oil central heating with open fire. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, CD/radio. Fuel, power and starter pack for open fire inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair on request. Off road parking for 2 cars. Front patio with garden furniture and BBQ. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 1.5 miles.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

Property Feedback:The cottage was the warmest and most comfortable we have ever stayed in. Importantly the bathroom, and in particular the bath was large with plenty of room. I am 6ft 3inches and really appreciated the height of the rooms. It was so cosy to return to after a day at, and a 32" TV with a very good picture was an added bonus. We loved the location, rural, and remote, but people also nearby. The owners, were very kind and hospitable, offering us easy chairs and a barbeque to use in their adjoining field.
