With one ground floor double bedroom, one ground floor twin and one first floor twin with en-suite bathroom (both twins can be super king-size doubles on request), this cottage can sleep six people. There's also a ground floor family bathroom and an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburner. Outside, there is off road parking for two cars plus lockable bike storage, a shared garden and a walled paddock area beyond. With wonderful walking and cycling routes from the door leading to the beautiful Lune Estuary, and the historic city of Lancaster just a few miles away, this is a great holiday home for friends and families to enjoy.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
Property Feedback:Basil Barn is in a very good location for exploring North Lancashire, the South Lake District and the Forest of Bowland. The barn is a good size for six people and a toddler and is well appointed.
,We were immensely impressed by the welcome given by owners. The property exuded class and we were very pleased with all aspects of our stay. It was comfortable in every way and it is in delightful surroundings, the added delights of the two goats and the peacocks made for a memorable stay. Fully recommended.
