There is a separate shower room. The rest of this ground floor cottage contains an open plan living area with galley kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburning stove. To the outside of the property there is off road parking for one car and a patio area with furniture and a barbecue. Shepherds Cottage is a quirky cottage and is ideal for a couple looking for a romantic getaway in glorious countryside with walking from the doorstep.

Off road parking for 1 car. Patio with picnic bench. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shops, pubs and village centre 10 min walk. Note: The two acre field is used for campers during the summer months, the nearest pitch is 50 yards from the cottage and there is some screening to that side of the cottage on the patio area and the caravan park is 100 yards away in the adjoining field. Note: The river bank is 200 yards from the cottage. Note: The owner of the site provides 1000 yards of free fishing on the River Tees (guests must have own rod licence), please contact owner at the site reception for more information.

Note:All prices are inclusive of the booking fee.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
