The cottage is set over four floors and can sleep eight people in four bedrooms, including a king-size double, a twin with an en-suite shower room, a single, and a family room. The rest of the cottage comprises of two family bathrooms, a cloakroom and an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area with French doors to a sunny paved veranda with furniture, and a sitting room with Juliet balcony. Outside there is off road parking for three cars. Hillberry is a delightful cottage, set in an ideal location for exploring the Lake District and the Cumbrian coast, and would suit any family.

Electric oven and ceramic hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, wine cooler, washing machine, dishwasher, 5 x TVs with Freeview (Sky Sports and Movies in sitting area), TV (no aerial) for DVDs, Blu-ray, DVD, CD/radio, iPod dock, WiFi, selection of books and games. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot available and travel cot/highchair on request. Off road parking for 3 cars. Paved patio with furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 2 mins walk, pub 5 mins walk. Note: The garden has varying levels and steps so children must be supervised.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

,Hillberry is the nicest, most well equipped cottage we have ever stayed in. The fittings and furnishings are top quality and no expense has been spared. Extremely spacious and light. ,The accommodation offered at Hillberry was very clean and spacious and provided everything you could need for a home away from home. Our party of 6 adults found there was plenty of room to relax and enjoy the surroundings, including pleasant evenings in the garden. All rooms were nicely decorated, clean and comfortable, guides were provided for the local area and plenty of books, games and videos to keep everyone happy. Parking at the house enabled us to easily park our three cars. Overall we had a fantastic time, the weather was sunny and hot every day and we did not want to go home. Thank you to the owners, you have a lovely place there and we would recommend it as a great place to stay if visiting the Lake District and you want a more relaxed environment away from the hustle and bustle of the larger holiday places.

,The property was very clean and included everything we could possibly have wished for in terms of furnishings, utilities, kitchen equipment and space. The whole property was well decorated and it was a pleasure to spend time 'at home'. Everything had been thought of and an excellent selection of DVDs and books, as well as board games, made for easy leisure and family activities. We were particularly pleased with the garden and the extensive parking - as we brought 3 cars which fitted easily in the driveway. All the bathrooms came with hand-soap and toilet paper provided, which was very helpful. The biggest plus for the property was its size, which was large enough to hold our 3 families and provided space for privacy, but also accommodated everyone in a cosy living/dining area.

,A warm welcome waited for us from the owners when we arrived at the property. The property was exceptionally clean and spacious and easily met our requirements, with fluffy towels and good quality bed linen. The covered patio at the rear of the property was ideal for relaxing after a full day out whatever the weather. It was convenient for visiting Lake Windermere and further afield, and close enough without being in the hustle and bustle. The grandchildren had lots of fun playing hide and seek over the 4 floors of the property. Not to be missed is a walk along the promenade to watch the tide rushing in, quite a sight to see. A big thank you to the owners for letting us stay in your amazing house. We would have no hesitation to recommend it to others.
