This single-storey timber lodge is situated on the owners' alpaca smallholding in the Dorset hamlet of Mannington and sleeps two people. Longhouse Lodge is a wonderful single-storey timber lodge, on the owners' alpaca smallholding in the hamlet of Mannington, close to Wimborne. This property sleeps two people and has an open plan studio layout of a king-size double bed, a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with woodburning stove. There's also a bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath. Outside there's off road parking for two cars, an enclosed gravelled area with furniture and a shared firepit and barbecue in a nearby paddock. Longhouse Lodge is a wonderful base for a romantic retreat.

Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, shared use of washing machine and tumble dryer in adjacent log cabin, TV with full Sky, DVD, iPod dock, WiFi, selection of books and games. Power and starter pack for woodburning stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 2 cars. Secure undercover bike storage. Enclosed gravelled area with furniture. Shared firepit and BBQ in nearby paddock. One well-behaved dog welcome, to be kept on a lead at all times due to livestock nearby. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 1.5 miles, pub 1 mile. Note: The owner has a dog, and there are horses and alpacas on-site. Note: Babes-in-arms only. Note: The cottage is accessed via 0.2 miles of unmade track. Note: There is a paddock with field shelter available for horses at an extra cost, please contact owner for more information.

Note:All prices are inclusive of the booking fee.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

,The Longhouse exceeded our expectations and the owners are a lovely helpful couple. We have stayed in many properties but this has been by far the most interesting with lots of added interest. Definitely worth a second visit and ideally located for walking, sightseeing, or quiet beaches.
