Presthaven Beach Resort:
You can find Presthaven on Wales’ northern coastline. A line of tall sand dunes is all that separates us from the sandy beach beyond. The sand flats here stretch out for miles, going on down past Prestatyn and Rhyl.
Half way between Snowdonia and Liverpool you’ll find our holiday park, right at the top end of Wales. It’s a lovely countryside retreat surrounded by rolling green hills on one side and a massive, flat sandy beach on the other. Climbing the sand dunes here gives you a great view out to sea and you can also go looking for wildlife. An exploration of the winding tracks through the dunes can uncover lots of the small wildlife and insects that call these dunes home, including rare endangered Natterjack toads.
The layout of our park is long and relatively narrow, and each the static caravan holiday homes we have for sale are no more than a few minutes’ walk from the beach. Our entertainment and leisure complexes are located near the middle of our park and this is where you can find all of our sports and leisure facilities. There’s everything from our Aerial Adventure high ropes course and an all-weather multi-sports court to an adventure golf course and our Pick ‘n’ Paint Pottery studio. With so much to do you’re sure to find something to entertain any friends or family that come to visit.
Our holiday park might be out in the middle of the Welsh countryside but you’d be surprised how easy it is to reach us. We’re only two hours’ drive from cities as far away as Birmingham and Leeds so you can easily get away here whenever the fancy takes you. Once you’re here there’s a load to keep you busy; why not use your trips here to learn a new sport? Perhaps fencing, archery or roller blading?
Snowdonia National Park’s mountains, lakes, valleys and forests are close enough for you to explore on long days out. There are plenty of other local attractions to keep you entertained on family outings too.
If you’re going to be entertaining younger family members with an interest in nature then they’ll probably appreciate visits to places like Chester Zoo and Rhyl Seaquarium. You can have an active day out running around the woods at the Adventure Company: Paintball near Abergele. Greenfield Valley Museum and Heritage Park are nice places to go for a family trip, its tower maze and adventure tree house is great for kids and there’s also a historic farm and museum to check out.
