Welcome to "The Owlet" our family owned chalet situated within Bideford Bay Holiday Park, North Devon. Set in a charming, wooded hillside location with beautiful sea views, this is an ideal base for exploring the Devon and Cornish coastline.

Our contemporary two bed roomed chalet is furnished to a high standard and sleeps 5 with a double room, twin room and travel cot if required. You enter the chalet to a comfortable open plan living area with fully fitted kitchen equipped for all your needs. The lounge has a 32” flat screen television with freeview, DVD/CD player and dining table with seating for 4.

The bathroom has an electric shower over the bath, plenty of under sink storage and an electric towel rail for your comfort.

The chalet benefits from electric heaters throughout and is fully double glazed.

Prices include electric, bed linen (made up) extra blankets, bath mat, hand towel, tea towel and a toilet roll.

Please note that Entertainment/Facility passes can be purchased direct from reception to enable use of the Indoor and Outdoor swimming pool and payable evening entertainment.

Free Wi-Fi is available in the clubhouse.

Travel cot and high chair available free of charge.

Parking bays are available close to the chalet.

The amenities/facilities are only a 5 minute walk away, however it is quite steep and thole with mobility difficulties may find this a problem.



Bideford Bay Holiday Park is situated on the beautiful Devon coastline, close to the traditional seaside town of Clovelly.  We enjoy breathtaking views from the Park and are close to beautiful beaches such as the Blue Flag beach at Westward Ho!

Local family attractions include The Milkyway Adventure Park, The Big Sheep, Exmoor Zoo and Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park.

In addition to the wonderful local attractions nearby there are some fantastic on-park facilities inluding adventure playground, crazy golf, indoor and outdoor pool with flume, mini assault course, soft play area and an all weather sports court.

Entertainment is centered around the Manor House Bar and Restaurant suitable for the whole family. From superb stage shows, comedians, singers and tribute acts, there is something for everyone, and it wouldn't be a holiday without a game of Bingo!

There is also a Convenience Store and Launderette on-site and a Post Office just outside the Park entrance.

We are situated above the little fishing hamlet of Bucks Mills which you can access from the Park (but be warned its not for the faint hearted). There is however an easier route via the narrow road adjacent to the Park.

There is so much to see and do in the area and is suitable for families, couples, business people, walkers, cyclists, golfers, fisherman and surfers.

We have provided a welcome pack in the chalet with information on the surrounding area and ideas of where to visit.


Booking Terms and Conditions

A £50 non refundable deposit is payable at the time of booking.  The remaining balance is payable 6 weeks prior to the holiday start date.

Unfortunately, we have to ask for a £75 refundable security/damage bond payable with the balance of the holiday. This will be refunded once the chalet has been checked and no loss, damage or the need for an excessive clean.

Happy to take payments by installments.
