Burleigh House Holiday Let

Burleigh House is a large detached holiday let on the outskirts of Tenbury Wells which lies on the borders of Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Shropshire.

Hay on Wye and Ludlow are within easy reach as are the cathedral cities of Hereford and Worcester.

Sleeps 13; dogs welcome. Burleigh House will offer a relaxed environment for those with young children or pets to enjoy a holiday or short break in a beautiful area. We accept 2 dogs but will consider more, if they are well behaved.

We have a secure garden as well as a boot room with a dog flap. Dogs are allowed in all ground floor rooms. Ideal for family get togethers, walking groups, or just a crowd of friends to have fun. With its large games room, it is great for all the family, even in bad weather.

Tenbury and the surrounding area has lots to offer all year round with beautiful walks, an Art Deco cinema/theatre, which has been lovingly restored. In Autumn, Tenbury hosts the Apple Festival and in December the Mistletoe Festival. Locally there are several National Trust properties, as well as many other things to do.

Burleigh House is very spacious:

Comprising three floors, including a lower ground floor, this 6bed property can sleep 13 guests and is pet friendly (2 pets but by arrangements more can be accommodated).  Pets are allowed in all ground floor rooms and a dog flap to the enclosed gardens can be found in the boot room. The perfect getaway for families and friends who want to relax and allow their children and pets the freedom to explore without feeling you are disturbing others. With plenty of space to have your own time but still that feeling of being together.

On the lower ground floor you will find the games room with table tennis, darts, a large sofa, freeview TV plus other toys and games.

On the ground floor are two living rooms; both have open fires (initial fuel included) and one has a freeview TV, DVD player and selection of DVDs. There is also a dining room, which has space for 13 people to eat together and an attractive decorative fireplace. The kitchen has a range cooker, 2 refrigerators, freezer and dishwasher, a separate laundry room with two washing machines and a tumble dryer, we also have a boot room, complete with a dog flap to the enclosed garden. On this level is the first of the 6 bedrooms with a 6ft superking zip and link bed (which can be converted to twins on request) with an ensuite shower room with toilet.

5 further bedrooms can be found on the first floor; and comprise of a family room with 6ft superking zip and link bed (which can be converted to twins on request) and a full size single day bed, a king size, 2 twins and a single; there is also a pull out 2ft 6" single bed which can be placed in the family room, the king size room or either of the twin rooms. on the first floor are 2 bathrooms; one has an overbath shower and toilet, the second has a bath and toilet.

Outside the terraced garden is fully enclosed and has a summer house, large decked area, patio and barbeque.  There is ample parking for at least 3 cars
