This barn conversion cottage is situated on a working farm four miles from Leek and can sleep four people. Highfields Barn is a ground floor barn conversion on the owner's working farm, in a rural location just four miles from Leek in Staffordshire and and a short drive to the spa town of Buxton dating back to the 1800's with an elevated position and beautiful rural location, this sympathetically converted barn has breathtaking views of the moors and rolling hills making it an ideal base for walkers or a couple looking for a romantic retreat. . The cottage sleeps four people and has a king-size double bedroom (zip/link, can be twin on request), a zip/link first floor twin room, a shower room, a kitchen with a dining area and a sitting room with a woodburning stove. Outside is off road parking and a patio with outdoor furniture. Set in the southern part of the Peak District National Park, Highfields Barn is a superb romantic retreat for a couple wanting to get away from city life and discover the beautiful Staffordshire countryside. Due to location phone signal may be intermittent.

Oil central heating with woodburning stove. Electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge with ice box, dishwasher, WiFi, Smart TV with Freeview, DVD. Fuel, power and starter pack for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair on request. Off road parking for 2 cars. Patio with picnic bench. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 4 miles, pub 2 miles. Note: The property is accessed via a farm track, unsuitable for low slung vehicles. In snowy conditions you will need either snow socks, snow chains or a 4x4 vehicle. There is secure bike store available a short distance down the track at the farmhouse. Due to location phone signal may be intermittent. From approx 13th April to late May 2019 owners offer the opportunity for guests to assist in lambing on the farm, please ask owners for details on how to get involved.

Note:All prices are inclusive of the booking fee.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
