It is a beautiful wing to a converted barn in a courtyard setting above the little hamlet of Shottle. Located just four miles from Wirksworth, the property makes the perfect base for exploring the beautiful Peak District. There is a king-size bed in the large master bedroom, which is beautifully decorated and furnished and its own en-suite. The living area downstairs is cosy and welcoming, and the cutting-edge design of the kitchen shows that the owner has successfully married "Olde Worlde" charm with up to the minute convenience and comfort. There are many relaxing leisure opportunities on your doorstep here, including beautiful walks, nearby Wirksworth is full of great shops, pubs and restaurants, and Matlock offers unusual attractions such as the Heights of Abraham with its beautiful water gardens. Enjoy this romantic getaway at any time of year.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
