Three bedrooms: 2 x first floor super king-size double (zip/link, can be twin on request) one with basin, 1 x ground floor double. First floor bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Ground floor shower room with shower, basin and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area.

This cottage is in the grounds of a former mill in New Mills and can sleep six people in three bedrooms The Clocking In House is a superb cottage in the grounds of a Grade II* listed former mill on the River Goyt, just on the edge of the Derbyshire town of New Mills. The cottage sleeps six people and has two first floor double bedrooms (accessed by an external staircase) and another on the ground floor, along with two family bathrooms. Also in the cottage is an open plan living area with a fitted kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area. Outside is off road parking and access to the river and a myriad of walks. The Clocking In House is a superb holiday home in an historic building set in a magnificent location.

Gas central heating. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, Smart TV with Freeview, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair on request. Off road parking for 3 cars. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shops, pub and restaurants 10 mins walk. Note: There are many stone steps and ledges and a fast flowing river close by, children will require very close supervision and the cottage is not suitable for people with limited mobility.

Note:All prices are inclusive of the booking fee.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

Property Feedback:The location is very quiet but very atmospheric and seconds away from beautiful river walks. We really liked how the restoration had been done; still old fashioned, still able to see the original layout and functions, and much of the furniture is of its period but the bits that mattered were up to date, so the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped and the showers were good. A very comfortable, cosy house.
