This detached single-storey cottage in Aviemore sleeps up to five people in two bedrooms. Strathisla is a detached single-storey cottage in the Highland town of Aviemore within the Cairngorms National Park. The cottage has a double room and a room with bunks and an additional folding bed. There is also a shower room, an additional cloakroom, a kitchen and a sitting room with dining area and open fire. Outside is off road parking for two cars, and lawned garden areas to the front and rear. Strathisla is an ideal base for enjoying all that Aviemore has to offer, from the town amenities to the surrounding countryside which offers walking and cycling, skiing, watersports and more.

Electricity inc. in rent. Fuel for fire available to purchase locally. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Highchair on request. Off road parking for 2 cars. Lockable storage shed. Enclosed lawned gardens with furniture. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 5 mins walk, pub 1 mile. Note: There are 2 steps up to the front door. Note: There is a steam railway line situated parallel to the property meaning some noise will be audible when trains pass.

Note:All prices are inclusive of the booking fee.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

,The cottage is very clean and obviously maintained to a high standard. Both directions and key pick up were very clear and easy to obtain. It was a nice walk to the town centre and easily accessible by both foot and car. Ideal for what we wanted. Internet access was good and fast too. Holiday couldn't have been better!

,Liked the general area, in easy reach of hills and forests, and only 30 odd miles from the Moray coast. The house was comfortable and in a quiet spot. It was great to see the steam train going past the house, brought back memories of our childhoods. Aviemore has good facilities within easy walking distance.

,This is a cosy cottage in a great location. It has a well-equipped kitchen and the open fire gave the children lots of fun toasting marshmallows. We also enjoyed watching the steam train going past the cottage. The second toilet was very handy. This was our third stay at Strathisla and we will definitely be back again.
