,The Byre is a beautiful converted barn, it was very relaxing and the owners were particularly helpful and welcoming. We would definitely book here again.

,We loved our stay at The Byre, it is located on the outskirts of a small village which has a shop/post office and pub. The cottage was really well equipped with everything needed to make our stay a fantastic one. There are plenty of options for dog walks and also access to the owner's fields for the dogs to have a run around. We thoroughly enjoyed our break and would highly recommend a stay here.

,I can not recommend The Byre, highly enough, as previous reviewers have stated I've stayed in many throughout the UK and this was by far the best, the owners live next door and are so friendly. A fabulous welcome pack awaited me on arrival, in addition there was fruit, milk, bread, butter and fabulous eggs from the very free range chickens that wander around! The fabulous utility room which isn't photographed, is a god send if you're traveling with a dog, it's huge and very well equipped. The whole place was absolutely spotless, and a real home from home with high quality furnishings and so much space. The photographs really don't do it justice. It's in such a peaceful location, on a very quiet lane, and the most noise all week was from the cockerel!
I will most definitely return to The Byre, I shall be booking in again soon.

,The cottage was excellent in every respect, with great consideration to what guests might require. The owners were great, friendly and helpful, and even lent my husband a tie when he realised he had forgotten one.
