There is one en suite bedroom in the property as well as a spacious open-plan living space with modern well-equipped kitchen, dining table and sitting area. Set in open countryside on the edge of the village of Markington is this comfortable and inviting cottage; a delightful self-contained wing of the owner's detached home. This property is six miles from the lovely city of Ripon and has been lovingly restored to offer spacious, ground-floor accommodation, exposed beams and velux windows, as well as a bright and airy atmosphere. The region is host to a number of great activities, including Harrogate's magnificent Turkish Baths, old theatres and Bettys Tea Room, which overlooks the impressive Montpelier Gardens.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

,The owners are particularly nice people, and offered help with anything to do with the area, including walks or places to visit. The cottage is really one of the best we have been to, with a kitchen area equipped as well as you could want. Including a fridge freezer, high quality microwave with grill, dishwasher and washing machine. I would recommend this cottage.
