Property Feedback:The owners were gracious, charming and very welcoming hosts to this wonderful little cottage in an idyllic garden setting. The cottage is cosy, with everything one could possibly need, with a spacious and airy conservatory overlooking a well tended garden that was overflowing with spring flowers during our visit. The log fireplace in the lounge was a wonderful place to retire to after dinner each evening. The cottage adjoins the main home, which is reassuring, but is entirely private. Thoroughly recommended.

,Firbank cottage is superbly located just outside the small village of Castleton and ideally placed for visiting the surrounding countryside. The cottage has a superb garden. The owners are readily available if you need any guidance as regards pubs, villages or coastal towns worth visiting.
The cottage is very well equipped, with everything you need, including heating if required. The conservatory is a godsend and wonderful for sitting and doing nothing.I would unreservedly recommend Firbank to anyone looking to visit the Moors!
,The garden and surrounding woodlands are stunning - great fun for the family to explore before even leaving the property. Walks over the moors are available from the front gate and the Yorkshire coastline has plenty to offer within a short drive.
