This terraced cottage is situated in the hamlet of Newland and can sleep six people in three bedrooms. Furnace Cottage is a terraced cottage in the hamlet of Newland just one mile from Ulverston. The cottage sleeps six people and has one king-size bedroom which is zip/link with en-suite shower and two twins, one of which is zip/link, together with family bathroom. Also in the cottage is a kitchen with a dining area and a sitting room with woodburning stove. Outside is ample off road parking and a gravelled area with outdoor furniture. Situated in beautiful Cumbria, Furnace Cottage is a lovely family holiday cottage all year round.

Central heating from air-source heat pump with woodburning stove. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, 2 x TVs (one Smart TV and one with Freeview and DVD), WiFi. Fuel, power and starter pack for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair on request. Ample off road parking. Lockable bike/canoe storage. Enclosed front gravelled garden with patio and furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 8 mins walk, pub 1 mile.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

Property Feedback:The cottage was very well situated for visiting all the Lakeland areas. It was value for money and the parking space was excellent for three cars. It was near attractions for all ages which was great for our three generation family holiday.
