This stone-built cottage is situated close to Penrith and sleeps two people. The Cobbles is a detached cottage, situated within the grounds of the owners' home in the small village of Winskill, 7 miles from Penrith. This cottage sleeps two people in a double bedroom with en-suite shower room. The cottage also has an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburner. Outside there is off road parking for two cars and a patio area with furniture. The Cobbles is an ideal base for a romantic retreat close to walks, cycle routes and the Lake District National Park.

Electric central heating with woodburner in sitting area. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, TV with Freeview, DVD, CD/radio, iPod dock, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Additional fuel for woodburner on an honesty box basis. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 2 cars. Lockable bike storage. Patio area with furniture. Property is unable to accept infants. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 2 miles. Note: The owners live in the house opposite (10 yards away).

Note:All prices are inclusive of the booking fee.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

,This was our first cottage holiday and it certainly set the standard. We had a warm welcome from the owner and there was lots of local information was supplied - like having a personal tourist information office. The cottage itself was superbly kitted out with everything we could possibly need and was clean, warm and comfortable.
