This detached farmhouse is situated in Rhosgoch near Painscastle and can sleep eight people in four bedrooms.  Pentre Mawr is a detached farmhouse on the edge of Rhosgoch, near to Painscastle and Hay-on-Wye. The cottage can sleep up to eight people in two double bedrooms (one with an en-suite), two twin rooms which can both be made into super king-size doubles on request, plus a family bathroom. On the ground floor there is a kitchen, a dining room and a sitting room with a double sofa bed. Outside there is plenty of off road parking spaces available, along with a lawned garden with a patio and a private hot tub. Ideal for discovering the Welsh Marches and the Wye Valley, Pentre Mawr is a superb family holiday home.

Biomass underfloor heating throughout. Electric range oven and hob, microwave, fridge, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, Wii, WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair on request. Ample off road parking. Lawned garden and patio with hot tub, furniture and BBQ. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 3.5 miles, pub 2 miles. Note: Check-in time 4pm. Note: No stag/hen or similar.

Note:All prices are inclusive of the booking fee.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

Property Feedback:The dramatic location and the feeling of isolation was fantastic and the perfect antidote to city life. It was easy to get to all of the Brecon Beacons and the owner was very helpful in giving us tips of where to go. The space in the house was fantastic and felt very luxurious. The hot tub was a nice extra and was well used. The kitchen was particularly easy to use and very well equipped. The opportunity to light a fire in the garden was a lovely extra too.
