This chocolate box Grade II listed cottage in the Dorset hamlet of Mannington sleeps three people in one bedroom. Longhouse Cottage is a Grade II listed, chocolate box thatched cottage situated in the hamlet of Mannington, near the town of Wimborne. This cottage sleeps three people in one eaves double bedroom with a single folding bed available, plus the property has a eaves bathroom, a kitchen and a sitting room with dining area, sofa bed and wooburning stove. Outside there's off road parking for two cars, an enclosed paved, south-facing terrace with roll-top bath, shared barbecue firepit on paddock and access to a paddock with field shelter for horses at an extra cost (please contact owner for more information). Longhouse Cottage is an ideal romantic retreat with plenty to see and do in the area.

Electric wall-mounted panel heaters with woodburning stove. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, TV with Freeview, DVD, iPod dock, WiFi, selection of books and games. Power and starter pack for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 2 cars. Undercover bike storage. Enclosed, paved private terrace with furniture and roll-top bath with hand-held shower, star lights and curtains. Shared firepit BBQ in paddock. One well-behaved dog welcome, to be kept on a lead at all times due to livestock nearby. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 1.5 miles, pub 1 mile. Note: The steep twisting cottage stairs may not be suitable for those with limited mobility. Note: Sloping ceilings in bedroom and bathroom. Note: The owner has a dog, and there are horses and alpacas on-site. Note: Babes-in-arms and children over 5 years only. Note: The cottage is accessed via 0.2 miles of unmade track. Note: There is a paddock with field shelter available for horses at an extra cost, please contact owner for more information.

Note:All prices are inclusive of the booking fee.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
