This detached, 1930s period bungalow near Porlock in Somerset sleeps five people in three bedrooms. Ivybank is a detached, 1930s period bungalow situated on a hillside overlooking the Somerset village of Porlock. This cottage sleeps five people in three bedrooms, consisting of two doubles and one single, as well as a bathroom. The cottage also has a kitchen with dining area and woodburner and a sitting room with open fire. Outside there's off road parking for one car (approx. 50 yards from the end of the garden), a front enclosed lawned garden and decked area with furniture and a summerhouse with decked area, furniture and lovely views. Ivybank is a lovely base for exploring the Exmoor National Park.

Electric night storage heaters with woodburning stove and open fire. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, selection of books and games. Fuel, power and starter pack for fires inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 1 car approx. 50 yards away at end of garden. Bike storage. Front enclosed lawned garden and decked area with furniture. Summerhouse with decked area, furniture and views. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 10 mins walk. Coast 1 mile. Note: Due to 6 wooden steps from the decking to the lawn and stone steps to the summerhouse, care should be taken. Note: Check-in 4pm, check-out 11am. Note: The property is built on a hillside and care must be taken with children, people with limited mobility and pets. Within the borders of the garden there are uneven surfaces due to the garden being on a hillside, with the foliage hiding this therefore care must be taken if for any reason there is a requirement to venture into these areas.

Note:All prices are inclusive of the booking fee.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

Property Feedback:Ivybank is lovely, homely cottage in a beautiful area. We have stayed in Porlock many times and were really happy with the location The veranda was a real bonus as the weather was good. We loved eating out there with such a lovely view. The dogs loved exploring the garden. The art works on the walls was a joy to see. Just loved the cottage and can't wait to go back.
