If you love the great outdoors, you'll love Kilgarvan, the little rural village south of Killarney National Park and North of Gougane Barra Forest Park. Bayview Cottage is perfectly located for exploring the outdoors. Go north for the scenic Killarney National Park, south to the Gougane Barra Forest Park, or get on your bike and follow the Beara Kilgarvan cycling route, which runs through Kilgarvan and is only 1.5 miles from the property. Bayview Cottage is a delightful three-bedroom holiday home that provides traditional comfortable and cosy accommodation for up to six people, and makes the ideal base for exploring this beautiful area of Ireland. The town of Kenmare and its pubs, restaurants and shops is very close to the cottage, as are the fun water sports available at Kenmare Bay.

Oil central heating with open fire. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, TV, video, stereo/CD/cassette player, radio. Fuel for open fire inc. in rent. Electricity charged via meter reading at end of stay. Oil included in rent May - Sept inclusive, payable by meter reading Oct - April. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair on request. Off road parking for 3 cars. Lawned enclosed well-kept gardens. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 1.5 miles. Note: There are four steps leading to the front door.

Note:All prices are inclusive of the booking fee.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

Property Feedback:We loved the location and the view that the property offers over the entire surrounding area all the way down to the bay. Our hosts were extremely helpful and had time to explain everything to us on arrival and checked on us during the stay. The house is very well equipped and we were not short of anything during our stay, including a plentiful supply of seasoned wood for the open fire. We would highly recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a quiet place to get away to rural Ireland.
